LITTLE ROCK, AR – A storm that damaged several buildings and caused one minor injury in Fulton County Sunday was not caused by a tornado.

A storm survey of Viola by the National Weather Service found a downburst, with wind estimated between 70 and 80 mph, caused major damage to 3 mobile homes, one duplex, 3 barns, and 4 outbuildings. The NWS says the worst damage occurred to the duplex, whose roof was torn off.

Three families were displaced by the storm and are staying with family members.
