A Benton man dies when a tree falls through his house

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Benton Police say 60-year-old Lloyd Standridge died when a tree fell through his home early Wednesday morning.

Police say Standridge was inside when the oak tree, measuring 5-feet in diameter according to police, fell.

Standridge lived on Bass Lane.

I knew this man personally and he was an amazing person. I wish more people could be like Llloyd was. He loved Lake Quachita and he believed he was the Arkansas Razorbacks #1 Fan. You will be greatly missed. RIP.
