Strong Storms Spark Flash Flood Warnings

Flash flood warnings were issued throughout portions of western and central Arkansas Saturday morning as a strong storm system moved through the state.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Flash flood warnings were issued throughout portions of western and central Arkansas Saturday morning as a strong storm system moved through the state.

Heavy rain prompted the National Weather Service to issue a flash flood warning around 9:30 a.m. for a heavily populated area including portions of Garland, Saline and Pulaski Counties. You can click here for an up-to-the-minute list of watches and warnings.

Flash flood warnings were also posted through the early afternoon for already hard hit western Arkansas including Scott County. On Friday, two bodies were recovered from flood waters and three others remained missing.
