LITTLE ROCK, AR - Little Rock business and city leaders discuss ways to become more energy efficient and reduce the carbon footprint on the plant at the Little Rock Sustainability Summit at the Clinton Presidential Library.
Business leaders shared how they've have saved money on water and electricity bills by coming up with cost-cutting measures.
Little Rock city leaders highlighted the recycling program as a way they have tried to decrease waste.
Presenters believe more people are interested in becoming environmentally-friendly.
"We have to be good stewards of those resources and make sure the same luxuries we have today, our children and their children will have those same luxuries," said Erik Swindle, Heifer International's facilities manager.
Company leaders from L'Oreal, AT&T, and UAMS served as panelists on green business trends.
