Teacher Convicted of Sexually Assaulting Students Denied Parole

Brian Floss, a former third grade teacher in Fordyce, is denied parole after victim's family pleads for him to remain behind bars.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - An Arkansas teacher convicted of sexually assaulting students will remain behind bars for another year.

The Arkansas Parole Board unanimously voted to deny parole for inmate Brian Floss.

Floss was sentenced to prison for assaulting his third grade students inside his Fordyce classroom.

The victim's family testified last month, asking for Floss to remain in prison, but he will be up for parole again next year.

The board cited his position as a teacher and the age of his victims as reasons for the denial.
