Teacher who sexually assaulted teenager sentenced to 6 years

Why is this called "sexual assault" and when a man is older it is called "rape"? If a man had sex with a 15 yr old girl, he would get life in prison and maybe several life sentences.. What is the difference? Im sure these young guys are enjoying this just as much as anyone.. Something is not right here.. I think our system is all messed up...

Have you ever noticed how you never see or here about the heavier not so pretty teachers getting in trouble for sexual assault??? Is it that they arn't doing it or maybe the boys just don't bragging about those? I can tell you that when I was that age... I had many chances at much older wemen and I'm talking about the 15 to 25 year difference in age. Some I took up on the offer and some I didn't. Some were really good looking and some were less than steller. As A teen aged boy... To me it didn't make to much difference. I never called it an assault and Momma would've never found out. Dad would've given me a high five. I say prison,sex offender... way over board!!! She didn't do any thing to the young man that he didn't want to rize to the occasion for. He just run his mouth to much. In my opinion wemen would have a really hard time forcing this to happen. Even if the boy was too young to know what was really going on. I could understand ASSAULT. I some one call this assault with a friendly weapon. I could understand loosing her teaching licens but prison and sex offender registry.... NO! Sentence her to mandatory use of a condom when making a young mans dreams come true. Slap! slap! spank! slap! Ok slapped my hand and yes i'me a shamed of my self. Keep it on the real and some of you need to stop downing the kid or the teacher and remember when you was a teen ager.

THANKS FOR THE DEFENSE ...I wasn't giving her sympathy, just saying she was stupid to throw her future away. And like many of you, I just imagine the boy enjoyed this experience...which still doesn't make it right. Boys and girls nowdays are getting into sex a lot earlier than they did in my day. My great grandson asked me the other day why so many fathers were neglecting their sons. I told him because they get into sex way too early before they have discussed and planned their future, then they just walk away...VERY SAD CONVERSATION WE HAD.

I'll agree with you on the double standard. A man most certainly would have been given a much longer sentence. Agree with you that she is sick also.

She is sick and she deserves this sentence, yes the young man most likely enjoyed haveing sex duhhhh, that doesnt make him any less of a victim. she should be gald that there is this sick double standard because if this had been a man knocking off a 15 year old girl 15 times his ass would be gone for a lot longer than a 6 year sentence. i am so sick of these type of people doing these sexual crimes what is it that makes them crave the forbidden fruit? there is a certain evil inside of them and they cannot control it.

If the boys mother had not seen the text messages on his phone that were from the woman, this would have happened several more times before anyone would have known about it. I lay the blame on both of them. She is at fault for having sexual contact with a minor, much less as a teacher. He is also in the wrong here because he knew it was not only illegal, but simply not right for a teacher to be having sex with a student. But he didnt say a word about it did he? There is no victim here, just two dumbasses that knew better.

userone; I doubt the boy was "crushed". I was 12 when I was "assaulted" by a hot 17 year old female. It happened 4 or 5 times over the course of a year. I never said a word to anyone about it, and enjoyed every second of it! The only thing that crushed me was it ended when we moved to IL. The boy was "assaulted" how many times? I come from a family of 7 sisters and I am the only male in the family. When I was 14 till 18 and answered the draft notice, my sisters had many friends that would spend the night at our house. I honestly would say I was awoken at night with a friend of my sisters, and not only one. I also recall 3 elderly women,then in their 20's, that would pick me up to do yard work and had me do other services as well. Did I ever complain or tell anyone? HELL NO. I thought it was the best life in the world. I have 3 older sisters and 4 younger, so I was kinda in the middle. I am very sure this 15 year old if given the chance would do it over and over again!!!!!

What about the the 15Y/O boy what did get,don't sound he had much of a up bringing or he wouldn't have doing that ,15 or 17 times sound like was braging to someone when it got to the wrong person ,he needs to share some of the blame too,now don't get me wrong she was way wrong too and she gets what she gets,I bet the boy didn't even lose his driving permit.

Dang wen Iwas 15 year old boy it would be called a blessing now its sexual assault. My how times ave changed.
