Sex Therapist, Mary Linda Davis, recommends a healthy diet. "Changing your diet indicates an attitude change, that you're worthy, that you like yourself, that you're worthy to do things conducive to having a more positive life," said Davis.

Davis says diet is one of the ways we medicate our bodies. She explains. "When I'm feeling good about me, I eat better, I exercise. I feel better about me, and I feel much more available, emotionally, and to experience my sexuality in whatever form."
