Adding a child and spouse makes it a whopping 1030.00 a month...would you pay this much for insurance that total atleast 33 percent or more of their pay...what other company would expect their workers to pay this much? These prices and conditionsare set by our state legislature

Excellent story channel 16, and I thank you for your coverage. The only thing you failed to mention is that the coverage you talked about is for just the employee. If they need to cover their entire family, state employees can do so for $419 a month. The same coverage for a school employee will cost $1,029. Shelley Branscum

What does it matter? What private company, state agency or school district will keep on giving us private health insurance when the health care exchanges take effect by law in 2014? The whole system will be socialized at that point.

That price is for an employee ONLY. Adding even one child raises the monthly cost to $581, additionally adding a spouse will make it a whopping $1,030 PER MONTH. That puts many teachers working only to pay their health insurance premiums. How can the state justify all of the money given to state employees to off-set their costs and NOT to teachers equally?

Welcome to Obamacare lady! This is what the country gets when they vote for a liar. Lets not forget our republican congressman that wants to tax internet purchases now.
