A community says goodbye to the three children killed in a house fire last Friday in Madison Arkansas.
Toniette Mills is filled with grief as she says goodbye to her three children. Ten-year-old Kierra and four-year-old Michael shared a casket while 13-year-old Kayla rests in another one. Toniette managed to save her 9-month-old baby but the intense flames made it impossible to save Kayla, Kerria, and Michael.
"Lord why did you do this to my family,”said Tommy Thompson. Toniettes brother, Tommy Thompson, is struggling to understand why his nieces and nephew didn't make it.
“We're humble people, we ain't got much. Lord hold these babies," said Tommy Thompson.
The sanctuary was standing room only as Pastor Marland Brown comforted the family.
"Don't worry about these little children. I know they are in the arms of almighty God. I'm so glad we can say we made it, we have strength, and ability in Jesus Christ. Don't worry about them, they made it with Jesus,” said Pastor Marland Brown.
Because the family lost everything in the fire, they need help. If you want to make a donation call Madison police at (870) 633-2175. Or donations can be made to the Mills Williams Memorial Fund at the First National Bank of Eastern Arkansas at 870-633-3112.
