Two Men Hospitalized with Gunshot Wounds in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Little Rock Police Department says one of two men shot in an early morning incident has died from his injuries.

Abe Hall, 58, who police say owned the home where the shooting took place on Asher Avenue, died this afternoon at UAMS.

Police say this is the city's sixth homicide of the year.

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Two men are hospitalized with gunshot wounds after an early morning shooting incident in Little Rock.

It happened just after 2:30 at a home in the 3600 block of Asher Avenue.

Officers were sent to the scene after a woman called 911 shouting "They have been shot! They have been shot!."

When police arrived, they found one of the men just inside a back door and the other on the floor between the kitchen and living room.

The victims are identified as Abe Hall, 58, and Michael Watson, 57.

Both men were critically wounded, according to police, but their current conditions are not known.

Investigators are still working to determine the reason for the shootings and have not yet named a suspect.
