UAMS advises patients of medical records breach

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences says medical records involving about 1,500 patients have been improperly disclosed, but no financial records were released.

This is long overdue, UAMS has terrible info security, allows the exchange of patient information via an un-encripted email system, lost cell phones, and lap tops loaded with patient info almost on a daily basis. I am sure their State attitude and mentality will be - Oh Well???
