After a chase that started in Ft. Smith and over the Arkansas River bridge the third suspect, Brandon Henderson, has been caught.  Sheriff Ron Lockhart of Sequoyah County, Oklahoma tells FOX16 that his deputies were able to lay down spike strips and stop Henderson in a stolen car.

He is in custody in Oklahoma and they hope to bring him back to Pine Bluff some time today.

Henderson, 18, and two others, Nicholas Dismuke and Christopher Beverage, both 16, beat a guard as they fled a juvenile lockup in Pine Bluff.  The guard, Leonard Wall, died Sunday from his injuries.

The three apparently stole a car after their escape and drove in it to Clarksville, where the car was found abandoned.

Deputies say say the escape occurred as guards were checking to make sure the detention center's inmates were in bed.  Another guard was treated at a hospital and released.

Dismuke and Beverage are being held with no bond. The court found probable cause to charge them with escape in the 1st degree, capital murder, aggravated robbery, theft of property, and battery in 2nd degree. Their next court date is Feb 16th where the will be formally charged.

This is really sad that our government pay for these animals they will be able to sit down and eat several meals with there thug family. I really wish something can be changed send them to Iraq and leave them to fend for themselves just has this helpless man had to. Or either fry them like tomorrow why wait it is obvious what they did so know need to waste more of my money taking care of them.

you can see the difference in adluts escaping and juveniles escaping.... the adluts just leave and the juveee's kill.... you can see how things have changed in the generations....kids these days don't care...i hope they give him what he gave the Correction officer...it was planed ,so that should mean 1st degree murder...DEATH PENTALY.....you hear this bleeding hearts.....DEATH PENTALY....why should the tax payers have to pay child support for a murder..no where in my tax papers say i have to support thugs like this.. my taxes are for military,,government,,highways,,,,NOT MURDERS.....try them and then execute them..good day

Please call them what they are; Correctional Officers. If you were a Doctor would you accept being called a caregiver? How about calling teachers babysitters? This lack of respect for Correctional Officers is what contributed to this. Pray for the Officer's Families and that this last piece of filth will be caught before he hurts someone else.

It' to late for the guard but....due to circumstances beyond this thugs control , he is from an enviornment where it's not snitching , it's getting a murderer off the streets . This guy will very soon be caught . I'm guessing the county will now ask voters to approve a tax increase to increase funding for the jail . It sounds like the county powers that be set this guard up for failure , all in the name of a tax increase.

What's sad is the fact that this society continues to put people like these guards in harms way, refusing to understand that some things simply can not be managed unarmed ( multiple attackers for example ). Simular to the unarmed security we see at Kroger and Wal-Mart, in reality they are poor helpless souls trying to make a living the best way they know how working for people who apparently never watch the news. There was a time when an unarmed guard at least had a baton and by law they could have had pepper spray and a taser, though the latter two were not available at the time, now because of clients like Kroger and Wal-Mart they are pretty much left defenseless having to rely on their cell phone and slow police response, in reality the vast majority of the population carry a cell phone and a good number of them pepper spray, not to mention all of those licensed for concealed carry, these poor folks are just targets.

Instead of serving time for juvenile crimes now it is adult crime murder! These little idiots just threw their lives away for no good reason, just sad!!
