UPDATE: AR Board of Education votes to remove NLR School District from fiscal distress list

LITTLE ROCK, AR – The Arkansas State Board of Education has voted to remove the North Little Rock School District from the fiscal distress list.

The Arkansas Department of Education certified in writing that the North Little Rock School District has met all criteria requested by the board to remove itself from the list.

The district was put on the list in May 2011 due to a number of banking errors dating back to 2007 and 2008.
