LITTLE ROCK, AR – The Morgan Nick Amber Alert for 12-year-old Amber Whitlow has been cancelled. Amber was found safe in Memphis, TN.

Little Rock Police say that Amber and her suspected abductor, Antonio Whitlow, were found walking near Beal Street. Police say Amber and Antonio are in police custody and Amber does not show any signs of physical injury.

Amber’s disappearance is connected with the homicide deaths of Bobby and Annette Whitlow, both 65-years-old. Police say Antonio has warrants out for two counts of capital murder and one count of kidnapping in connection to this case.

The elder Whitlows were found dead in there home at 2820 Zion Street after 3pm on Saturday. The man who says he found them is named Grady Parker. Parker tells Fox 16 that the Whitlows had adopted Amber. Parker says Bobby was a pastor of a small church with about 10 members called “Warriors for Christ.” He says they hold their meetings at a motel on Markham Street not far from the crime scene and all the members of the church were in training to be pastors.

The manner of the couple’s death has not yet been released.

To stndspec...I was one of Amber's 5th grade teachers a couple of years ago and Rev. Whitlow and Mrs. Whitlow was the best adoptive parents anyone could ask for. Just because your children makes a wrong turn in life doesn't mean there was abuse in the home. If you read other articles, this son was troubled from no fault of his parents. Rev. Whitlow was always at the school making sure that his daughter had the best education she could get. He was fun-loving, full of life, and a respectful man. He was always full of encouragement. If you don't know someone or the situation, please do not make speculations about what you think.

Im moving next door to Mr. and Mrs. Whitlow and they both were the nicest people period. He has been helping with the purchase of my new home. I hope the murderer/son gets the chair.

Poor girl, long road ahead for her. As soon as I read the headline that she's been found alive with her adopted brother and that he did not harm her, I immediately started wondering if the parents might have been abusive to the kids and if he was trying to save her from what he possibly endured in his own childhood.. Obviously just speculation, but based on what we're seeing so far it's likely religion has struck again.

Either way you look at it this child is going to need years of thearpy and councelling. This child was a Foster Child and it has been proving that not all Foster parents are in the buisness for the right reason. This family was involded in the Church and the man was a Paster. I'm sure they were one of the many good Foster parents that we do have or now had. Where is this child going to go now? who will take her in and love her as their own. May God bless this little girl with a 3rd chance to a good home and a loving family. May his healing hands provide her the thearpy she needs and give her peace and clarity. So thankful she was found alive and unharmed ( as we know through the news )God is with you Amber and you are in our hearts and prayers.

It is indeed a wonderful thing that this young child was found so soon. But as to being OK; we'll have to wait and see. Did she see her grandparents murdered? If so, I imagine she has a long road of therapy ahead of her; still, prayers are needed.

I'm glad this girl is home safe but whoever wrote that article needs to go back to journalism class. That was horrible and antagonizing to read!

GREAT!! she has been found alive and is okay..I sooo did not want to read or hear of another child getting killed in the news. Most of the bad things I manage to tune out-Adults make their own choices and alot of those choices are not good.A child is brought into things through no fault of their own.My heart breaks every time that I hear of another child found dead.

I am hearing the Amber Alert has been canceled. The child has been recovered and the subject is in custody. If true, thank God. The little girl will be traumatized enough as it is with the deaths.
