I sure seem to read alot of news regarding UCA crime, corruption, and controversy. You'd think it would be less expensive to attend UCA considering considering how much negative news one sees about them.

I retired from UCA after 40 years and I can tell you that this is not first scandal at the university. UCA has fired 3 presidents, one for embezzlement and false arrest, one for embezzlement and forgery and the latest for accepting bribes and making a special deal for a vendor, which UCA decided to award the contract to anyway. Several professors and staff have also been fired over the years for various reasons including theft, sexual misconduct and illegal drugs. One part time chemistry teacher actually ran a meth lab along with some students in one of the on campus apartment complexes. One UCA music teacher was arrested in 1977 in a Dillard's bathroom along with several other gay teachers. But this guy blew his brains out by the river. One of the other gay teachers was fired for molesting male students at his art studio on Beaverfork lake. Sadly, such things go on at other universities and colleges. Remeber a little school called PENN STATE?

This is the second uca case this fall where it is a he said/he said and they give one person immunity to say whatever it is they are saying. Never liked immunity testimony, if there is not good back-up they shouldn't just to conclusions. If there is they go for it.

There have been some very serious criminal activity at UCA by it's administrators over the past few years. The Attorney General needs to appoint a special task force to investigate the university from top to bottom and charge anyone else who need it.

Still confused why publicity hound Cody Hiland is not holding ANY of the students (who ACTUALLY stole the tests) accountable. Possibly he was willing to make a deal with the devil to get the "big fish" and the headlines????

Evidenceis weak? The prosecutor already made a deal with the kid he helped cheat to testify against him. Unless what the kad has to say isnt going to help the prosecutor, he is busted.

Maybe he needed time to pull a "Sandusky"; sign everything over to the wife before going to jail. Just a guess.
