UPDATE: House, barn burn in north Pulaski County

LITTLE ROCK, AR – A woman’s whose house burned down Friday evening says she was on the couch when she felt heat on her back. She turned around to see her deck fully engulfed, according to the North Pulaski Fire Department.

The woman and her husband were able to get out of the house without injury. Their house, located at 125 Rene Lane near Cabot, was as total loss. The fire department says the fire spread to a barn on the property and it burned down as well.

A family dog died in the fire.

The cause is under investigation.

It's also sad that some dumba&& didn't use his car ashtray to put out his cigarette when we're in a drought.
