UPDATE: KATV's Anne Pressly's family issues statement

A morning anchor for a Little Rock television station was found in her home early Monday suffering from life-threatening wounds.

Anne, was a great young lady that had a lot of pride,progress and potentials.It's sad and im going to miss her but she is in a better place and ain't suffering. I hope god have mercy on the person that done this to Ann because justice has not yet came. I love you,Anne and it's going to be weird without you,but i know you will still be there just laughing and talking as usually,and im going to miss that unique smile that god gave you with love!

Thats horrible to even think a person was coldblooded enough to do that makes me sick. RIP ANNE PRESSLY

God is answering my prayers. I pray that he continues to put his shield of protection, love, grace and healing around Anne and her family. Thank God for touching the healthcare providers and giving them the knowledge to know what Anne needs at this time in her recovery.

Living in Atlanta, I heard this on the evening news. I am so very sorry for this wonderful family. I pray God will lead law enforcement to this horrible person! My heart and prayers pray that Anne will make a complete recovery!!

I was so sick about hearing of this horrible tragedy that I could not eat my supper. My thoughts for you dear lovely Ann is for a speedy recovery and you are in my prayers. I am so hurt, mad and upset now because of what heppened to this dear lady, that I will hold my angry comments on what I hope the courts do to the sorry, low down person that atttacked her.

There is way more to this story than they are saying right now and rightly so. They need to be able to get who did this and make it stick. God Bless her, her family and her work famiiy and friends.

LET BE IN PRAYERS FOR ANN AND HER FAMILY WITH KATV. AND I HOPE THAT WHO EVER DID THAT NEED TO BE IN PRISON FOR WHAT THEY DID TO MS. ANNE PRESSLY BECAUSE SHE WAS A NICE PERSON TO BE ON KATV. SO LET KEEP ON PRAYER FOR HER IF SHE BE STRONG IN THE LORD.
