Pine Bluff police have decided to release a man who was arrested Friday night pending further investigation.
At around 7:15 pm on Friday night Pine Bluff police officers responded to 612 N, Myrtle Street in reference to someone being shot.
When officers arrived on scene they found Ken Brown with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police arrested 27-year-old Corey Oneil after finding out Oneil and Brown were arguing in the front yard over money and some car rims.
The weapon used in the homicide was recovered at the scene.
Cory Oneil still was at the scene of the shooting when the officers arrived and was arrested without incident. He was transported to the Detective Office to be interviewed. Prosecutors decided to release Oneil until they got the full case file from police.
