UPDATE: Victim's identified in I-40 fatal accident

LITTLE ROCK, AR - State Police have identified the driver of and 18 wheeler who died when his truck overturned on I-40 Friday morning.

Sylvester Givens of Memphis was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger, Sammie McDonald of Roginsonville, Mississippi, was taken to the hospital. His condition is not known.

The accident report says the truck was traveling westbound near mile marker 180 when the driver lost control, swerved into the median then back into the westbound lanes and overturned. The cause of the accident is not known.

Neither of the men were wearing a seat belt.

The accident blocked traffic in the westbound lanes of the interstate for several hours.
