The Garland County Sheriff's Department says investigators have discovered that someone shot the four people found in a burned out mobile home near Pearcy.
Investigators recovered four bodies from a burning mobile home Thursday. An 80-year-old relative was also found dead in an adjacent home and officials suspect foul play.
Friday detectives sifted through the rubble looking for clues and evidence.
"It’s surreal, it's not real, that's my dad," Karen Gentry said.
Karen Gentry can’t believe her 80-year-old father Ed Gentry Sr., a war hero, was murdered in his home. His home was ransacked.
"He was a warrior. I can't believe they broke in and did this. He has one leg from bone cancer. What's going on?" Gentry said.
On the same property Karen's brother Ed Jr., his wife Pam, their son Jeremy and his girlfriend Kristen Warneke, were all believed to be in the home and killed in the fire.
"It’s definitely the worst I've seen in 19 years," says Lt. James Martin with Garland County.
Deputies also found Ed Gentry Senior’s truck burning approximately 13 miles away from the home.
The family is still looking for answers and don’t know much about the fire.
