University Shell station robbed at gunpoint

LITTLE ROCK, AR – A Shell gas station was robbed Monday night just before 10.

According to the police report a man with a silver handgun walked into the Shell on 4111 S. University Ave demanding money. The clerk says the suspect hopped the counter, took the cash register, and ran away into a wooded area behind the store.

The clerk was not hurt in the robbery.

There was also a robbery at the Little Caesars just down the street from there on 5/1/12. No news outlet in Little Rock reported on it though. I'm really sick of the crime in this city and the covering up the news outlets do to protect the face of the LRPD and the City.

Great description of the suspect... Silver gun? I bet the guy was a native American, they're taking over nowadays ya know and have no moral compass and think they can just take whatever they want. Dang!!!! Yes we KNOW he was a black guy, so just say it. If it was a white guy that would have been the first thing that was mentioned. Sad!
