Exactly...I have ghetto relatives. They happen to live in the sticks. They are white. I call them ghetto because they are trashy, ghetto,evi relatives. Ya. Race has nothing to do with it. If you act trashy and live a life of crime, I consider that ghetto. I have friends of all races that are awesome and fight against crime.

I think the news I watched the other day said there were 300 million guns in the US. How you gonna get rid of all of them. Go door to door like the Nazi's did? Nope, not in my time. And as your story points out; not everyone should have a drivers license! Yet in this state, like the "Outlaw" once said on air, all you have to do to get a drivers license in AR is be able to open the door and get in the vehicle. From what I've seen on the highways and byways, he's right.

Itsjustme....I'm with you on this. The criminals are gonna have their weapons. It is our right to have ours. We need to put a better system in place to curb crime. Give longer sentences....Make our jails/prisons like it is in Arizona where the guys sleep in tents, only get the weather channel and wear pink boxers. Serve them bologna sandwiches or peanut butter and jelly.

There are more violent crimes, murders, shootings etc. that involve guns by people that are not suppose to have them (felons, nut jobs, etc.) than by law abiding, permit holding people. Yes, there are some out there that hold a concealed permit that arent smart enough to have a gun, but there are a lot more felons and nut jobs out there than that. I dont do drugs, but I do drink. I dont get drunk and go flashing my gun around at people like an idiot. Yet there are those of you that feel my right, as a law abiding citizen, to bear arms should be violated. F' all of you. I am sick and tired of these sorry ass dead beat criminals getting away with murder (and in some cases literally getting away with murder) and those of us that are law abiding citizens having to have our rights squandered because of them. Do something about them, not us.

Hey yankee think back a few months ago when the young man and lady were shooting at each other along 30. Playing bumper cars a high speed. I believe the story said they both had just completed their CCP class. How did those thugs get them. At the store I'd say. More alcohol and drug testing for gun purchases. Hunting license or anything that could involve a firearm.

It's funny EVERYTIME I try and read anything about a crime involving "black people", there is always the SAME RACIST names that pop up. A thug with a gun may be the "owner"; but what if the gun is stolen, or as in the case of the NY situation where 2 firefighters were killed - the nut case had some woman buy them for him? And you posted recently that alcohol leaves the system in a day or two, as do most drugs. Also, there are products to mask other drugs. Agree with your last two thoughts.
