LITTLE ROCK, AR - State Police are investigating an apparent hit and run pedestrian fatality which occurred about 2:30am along the westbound lanes of Interstate 30 near the Geyer Springs exit.

The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Lakevia S. Jiles.

Police say evidence collected at the scene indicates a silver or beige colored vehicle may have struck the victim.

Anyone who was traveling along I-30 or Geyer Springs Road about the time of the incident and may have seen a woman approaching or walking along the highway or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Arkansas State Police by calling (501) 618-8100.

No harm intended by my question, better question is this - why not stop, it is a no fault accident for any driver unless of course you are drunk or driving on a suspended license. I know this first hand, hope they catch this no guts idiot as well.

Thanks a million Fox For your support and efforts to find the person who struck my wife I'm ready to do interview and plead to the city of little rock for anyone who has information to come foward you have my permission to post this message on air and plead my cause. This is real devastating news to find out that she has passed on but I know the LORD has a purpose for us all! please continue your efforts to find the person behind this.
