Updated: Police Find Stolen Vehicle after Deadly Carjacking

LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Little Rock Police Department has released the identity of a man found shot to death this morning.

The body of Forrest Abrams, 18, was found lying along 11th Street following a robbery and kidnapping that began at 12th & Woodrow.

According to the incident report, Tyler Hodges, 22, of Little Rock, told police he and Abrams were taken at gunpoint at a convenience store where they had stopped for gas.

During the incident the suspects took wallets and a cell phone from the victims, stopped at a home where Hodges got out of the car for an unknown reason, then dumped Abrams' body several blocks away before taking off in his SUV.

LITTLE ROCK, AR -Little Rock Police say they've found the vehicle they had been looking for after a deadly carjacking early this morning.

It was found abandoned around nine o'clock at 20th Street and Charles Bussey Avenue, four hours after the incident.

Original story (7:30 a.m.):
LITTLE ROCK, AR - A man's body has been found on a Little Rock street after an apparent carjacking incident in the central part of the city.

It happened about 5:10 this morning near 4th and Woodrow. Police say a person told them he and his friend were getting gas at a convenience store at 12th & Woodrow when they were approached by three men who demanded a ride.

According to the Little Rock Police Department (LRPD), the three men jumped in the small red SUV with the two victims and drove to 4th and Woodrow where one of the victims got out and went inside a house. It is not clear exactly why he went inside the residence. The three suspects then drove off with the second victim still in the car. 

The second victim was found lying dead in the roadway by police on 11th Street between Woodrow and Booker.

Police say the stolen vehicle is a smaller red SUV similar to a Hyundai Santa Fe. 

The suspects are described by police as black males. One has dark skin and was wearing dark clothing. He is 5’10" tall and about 150 pounds. The second has short hair, is about  6’0" tall and weighs about 130 pounds. He was wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans. The third suspect has a medium skin tone, is about 6’0" tall and weighs about 240 pounds.

The LRPD says the killing is the 12th homicide of the year in the city.
