VILONIA, AR -- Students, teachers, and staff at Vilonia Middle School have a lot to shout about.
The school has been recognized as an Arkansas "Diamond to Watch" school.
The title is based on academic excellence, community partnership, and meeting students' needs.
It's a two year process to meet the strict guidelines.
"What's so great about it is our people have worked so hard -- faculty, staff, and students. It's just a great day to recognize all the efforts over the years," Principal Cathy Riggins said.
The fifth, sixth, and seventh graders were treated to snacks as a reward for their hard work. The teachers had a catered meal.
