LITTLE ROCK, AR - You probably know that panic feeling -- you've lost your wallet. All your money, credit cards, identification – gone and who knows whose hands your precious information is in.

One woman's panic turned to relief when a Walmart employee found her wallet, turned it in, and got it back to her with everything still inside.

Michelle Oglesby just had to thank Dominique in person for finding her wallet and returning it.

Michelle said, “It's so rare to find someone who is honest and I just want to say thank you, you're welcome.”

Oglesby says, while shopping at the Sherwood Walmart the other day she placed her wallet in the top portion of the cart and after checking out forgot about it. When Oglesby got home and realized her mistake, she panicked.

She called the last place she knew she had her wallet and to her disbelief a Walmart employee found her wallet and turned it in.

“He had two choices: one to do good, and one to do bad,” she said. “And he chose to do good.”

Dominique Davis says, he was just doing his job.

“I just thought it would be best to turn it in.”

Davis is a little overwhelmed by the show of appreciation and a little embarrassed, but he never once thought to take advantage of the situation.

“I know it would be hard on someone losing a lot of stuff,” he said.

He says he finds belongings in carts in the parking all the time and would do the same thing again.

“It wasn't mine,” he said. “I figured someone else needed it. It was the right thing to do.”

The store also recognized Dominique for his good deed with a party at work.

ladyofthehill; I know exactly what you mean. My last job before disability was at a local grocery store. One day I found an empty shopping cart with a purse in it. I took it inside right away and gave it to the women in the courtesy booth, some of whom were of questionable integrity. At least God knows I didn't take anything; and that's all I needed. I don't even get in my wife's purse unless asked to! Again, hat's off to this young man who is honest and choses to work instead of the other options!

I found a wallet someone had took all the money out of except for a few 2 dollar bills that were over looked.I traced down the owner and returned to the store he worked at.There were several credit cards and such but, when i returned it the lady at the desk said he had X amount of money in here.Hind sight is 20/20 so when i find something i call for back up and never pick it up i hate being falsely accused.

Its wonderful to hear and wish we heard more positive news like this. Good Karma comes to those who do good things. Keep up the great work young man.

Way to be a man and do the right thing. Most people would have stripped the wallet of cash then turned it in. Good job young man, maybe someone else will learn from this.
