SEARCY, Ark. (AP) — Officials in White County say election results will take longer to tally next week because of a misprint on the ballot.

Democratic state Rep. Tiffany Rogers is running against Republican Sen. Jonathan Dismang for a state Senate seat. The early voting ballot lists Rogers as "State Representative Tiffany Rog ..." instead of listing her full name.

Election officials say Rogers' full name is listed correctly on the general election ballot.

But County Election Coordinator Leslie Bellamy says the issue will lead to a slower count on election night. Bellamy tells The Daily Citizen that workers will have to manually enter the results into a database.

Bellamy says hand-entering the totals should delay the results by no more than an hour on election night.
