White County man dies in ATV accident

LITTLE ROCK, AR – A man died Tuesday morning driving his ATV along the Little Red River in White County.

The sheriff’s department says David Staten, 56, was found trapped under the ATV. Investigators believe Staten rolled his vehicle while traveling down the bank of the river. Staten was pinned under the roll cage in the water, according to the report.

The accident happened along River Drive, just outside of Judsonia.

The sheriff’s department says the ATV was equipped with seatbelts and Staten was not wearing one.
