Woman Threatened by Accused Bus Hijacker Speaks About Incident

Suspect reportedly showed her a knife and said it would be in her best interest to take him to her car.
JACKSONVILLE, AR -- A woman who was approached by an accused school bus hijacker moments before the incident is speaking about the events leading up to the crime.

Last Thursday, police say Nicholas John Miller approached a woman standing at the bus stop with her child, showed her a knife and told her it would be in her best interest to take him to her car.

After repeatedly telling the man she didn't have a car, he reportedly got on the school bus, which was carrying 11 elementary students, and forced the driver to leave the scene.

FOX16's Hubert Tate caught up with that woman on Wednesday, as she described the events that occurred just moments before the accused suspect boarded the school bus.
