Little Rock firefighters rescued a woman from a burning home Thursday night.

Firefighters were called out to 2204 South Pine Street in Little Rock around 8:30 p.m.  When they got there, several people in the front yard told them a woman was trapped inside.  Firefighters could not get in through the front of the house, so they cut a hole out of the side of the house to get in and rescue the woman.

Firefighters have not released the woman’s name, but tell FOX16 she was breathing when MEMS took her to UAMS.  She has third degree burns to her face, body, arms and legs.

It took firefighters five minutes to get the woman out.

The Little Rock Police and Fire Departments are questioning neighbors and investigating the cause of the fire.
