NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR -- A man is happy to be alive after being crushed by a mobile home -- 10 years ago.
Franklin "Dale" Britton shared his testimony at the Apostolic Church in North Little Rock.
Today was the church's "Miracle Day."
And he believes it's a miracle that he is alive.
He was trapped under the mobile home while he and his son were making some repairs.
He was underneath the home when it collapsed -- crushing his ribs and bruising his organs.
He said firefighters helped his son lift the mobile home from his body, but doctors were sure he would not survive.
Britton tells how the accident changed his life.
"It has made me a better person. I thank God continuously. I'm glad this happened, even though it was a tragedy, because it makes me realize just how precious life is," Britton said.
Britton is a retired firefighter.
He says he hopes his survival story gives people faith in God.
