Man's Body Found Alongside Railroad Tracks near Wrightsville
NEAR WRIGHTSVILLE, AR - A man's body has been found alongside railroad tracks in south Pulaski County.
A Union Pacific train conductor reported the discovery to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office shortly after 4 this morning.
Deputies responded to the area around 145th St. and E. Front St.
According to the incident report, the conductor said he was driving the train northbound when he spotted the body as he slowed the train on its way to the Higgins Switch section of tracks.
The conductor stopped the train and walked back to where he thought he had seen a body when he found the deceased man.
The PCSO says the man has not yet been identified. He is described as black and in his mid to late 50s. No foul play is suspected at this point in the investigation.
