LITTLE ROCK, AR - Workers at a Little Rock McDonald's restaurant rally today for higher wages.

Currently the minimum wage in Arkansas is $7.25, but these workers are pushing for $15 an hour.

President Obama has pushed for raising the minimum wage to $10 an hour but hasn't' received much legislative support on the issue.

"If you work two weeks and only get a $400 check and you have lights, water, gas, plus rent a child on top of that and you make $425 every 2 weeks which is $850 a month, that's very difficult to live on," says Jay Harris.

We reached out to the McDonalds corporation for a comment, officials say they would have a response by 4:30 Friday afternoon but so far we haven't received it.
