Mike Maggio Loses Judgeship after Ethics Investigation

-
LITTLE ROCK, AR - The judging days are over for Mike Maggio.

Today, the Judicial Discipline & Disability Commission (JDDC), in a unanimous vote, agreed to public sanctions against the circuit court judge from Conway.

The panel submitted to Maggio a letter of suspension removing him from office in the case that dates back more than two years.

Maggio, 53, had been on the bench since 2001.

In today's settlement, Maggio admitted to ethics violations and agreed not to ever seek another judgeship.
