PERRY COUNTY, AR – An undercover sting operation in Perry County leads to the arrest of three men involved with drugs.
A Perry County sheriff’s deputy received a tip that there was an increase in illegal drug activity at Toad Suck Park.
Deputies from Perry and Faulkner County, the Arkansas State Police and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission took part in a week long undercover sting operation.
Two ounces of marijuana, 3.1 grams of methamphetamine ice and 11 hydrocodone pills were seized.
The investigation resulted in three separate arrests. Johnny Jones, 28, of Conway was charged with delivery of a scheduled substance (marijuana).
Steven Marshall, 45, of Vilonia was charged with delivery of a scheduled substance (meth ice), and possession of marijuana and hydrocodone with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Akeem Rashad Charlie Payne, 20, of Conway was charged with to counts of a controlled substance (marijuana).
