$5000 Reward Offered In Army Sergeant's Murder Case

- LITTLE ROCK, AR -- A Central Arkansas family is offering a $5000 reward for information in a murder case.

The family of Jason Jackson gathered to honor his life and called for justice Tuesday night.

"We just want to remember him and his legacy and all that he meant to his family and friends," said stepfather Darryle Hinton.

The Army First Sergeant was murdered three years ago on April 22.

Investigators found him on Arch Street dead.

Since then, there have been no arrests or any new leads.

"We are seeking closure and answers to the reason Jason was murdered," said Hinton.

The family prays one thing will happen to the person who committed the crime.

"Conviction will set in your heart to the point where you would confess your actions and take the necessary steps to do what's right," said Hinton.

The family also created a website called justiceforjason.net.
