82-Year-Old Lady Helping Tornado Victims Recover
WEST PULASKI, AR -- An 82-year-old woman has been volunteering to help tornado survivors during the last few weeks.
Large sticks and limbs are no match for Wanda Bouldin of Arkansas.
Wanda was in Mayflower last week, volunteering with her daughter.
Wanda said helping in Mayflower was such a blessing.
She said it touched her heart to see those people who were so grateful that it encouraged her to come back and help some more.
Wanda and her daughter were in West Pulaski today helping Albert Goodson and his wife, whose home was destroyed in the storms.
"As long as there's a need and as long as someone asks me, I'll be right out there with them, helping them too," said Wanda.
Albert told Wanda they couldn't have done it without her.
"She won't even stop long enough to take break," laughed Albert.
When asked how long she would help others, Wanda said, "I plan to as long as the Lord gives me the strength to do it."
