In a 5-to-4 ruling, the court eliminated limits on how much people can donate to political campaigns in a single election season.
The court did uphold the $5200 limit on how much you can give to any single candidate.
One little rock attorney offers some perspective on the ruling.
"This decision represents a continual chipping away at campaign spending regulation and contribution limits," sais Attorney Andy Taylor.
Supporters say the decision is a win for free speech.. Some opponents call it legalized bribery.
