PULASKI COUNTY, AR – Authorities are searching for a couple that has been missing for months.

On June 13, officers received a call from George Hess’ sister saying that she had not been able to locate her brother in two months.  When she tried to reach him by phone, her calls go straight to a voicemail box that is full.

Hess’ sister told officers that she had checked all area hospitals and none had record of George Hess or his wife, Janette. George has severe high blood pressure and Janette is blind.

Officers went to the Hess residence on Perry Lane. A neighbor of the Hess’ said she had not seen the pair in over a month. The yard was overgrown and a package that had been delivered on June 5 was still in the driveway.

Authorities say two dogs were found in the backyard – one tied to a tree and the other pinned to a 2 ft. by 2 ft. area.  The dogs’ fur appeared to matted and their  water supply was covered in mold.

Officers entered the home and discovered various items indicating it was a hoarding residence. The couple was not inside.

The sheriff’s department is attempting to locate the victims’ daughters.

If you have any information on George and Janette Hess’ whereabouts, call the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
