CONWAY, AR -- A local restaurant hosts a pancake fundraiser to help buy backpacks for students.
Stoby's in Conway served breakfast from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sunday to raise money to help children in need of school supplies.
Customers paid $5 for a stack of pancakes and all proceeds went to the Pleasant Branch Baptist Pine Street Community Backpack Program.
The program provides aid to low income students every August.
Organizers say they anticipate more recipients this year because of the April 27 tornado.
