NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – Hilary Hunt gets some help from baseball fans for the “Ice Bucket Challenge.”
Hilary was challenged by Fox 16 Good Day anchor Deedra Wilson to do the challenge. The “Ice Bucket Challenge” involves people getting drenched with ice cold water, posting it, and challenging others to do the same to raise awareness for ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) or donating to the cause.
On Friday night at the Arkansas Travelers’ game, fans were given the opportunity to bid on a chance to pour the ice water on Hilary during the game on live TV. Fans Matt and John were the winners.
The challenge was started by Pete Frates, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2012 to raise awareness about the disease.
Over $100 was raised during Hilary’s challenge.
