Keo Man Arrested in Alleged Theft Case

LONOKE COUNTY, AR -- A Keo man is in custody in Lonoke County, charged with Felony theft by receiving for allegedly having a stolen motorcycle and stolen 2013 truck in his possession.

A Lonoke County Sheriff's deputy pulled over a motorcycle Saturday shortly after 4:00 p.m.

The operator was identified as 32-year-old Josh Wesley Smith of Keo.

Further investigation revealed the motorcycle had been reported stolen by the Haskell Police Department on the 18th of March. 

The officer reports also locating a 2013 Ford F-150 at Smith's residence that had also been reported stolen by Little Rock police.

Smith was arrested for two counts of Felony theft by receiving, and taken to the Lonoke County Detention Facility.
