27-year-old Andrew Cody Cortinez is charged with 5 felonies for allegedly shooting a gun at a moving vehicle carrying two men and a woman.

A report from the Sheriff's Office says Cortinez admitted to firing the gun during questioning.

On Monday, a deputy responded to an aggravated assault call on Pinnacle Valley Road.

A couple reported they and a friend were traveling on the icy road in a Toyota 4-Runner when a truck passed them and then forced them to stop.

Two struck the vehicle, with a spent round striking the passenger compartment and another hitting the bumper.

No one was injured.

During the investigation, Cortinez was developed as the possible man with the gun.

He was arrested early Saturday morning.
