Little Rock Police Investigating Saturday Afternoon Shooting


LITTLE ROCK, AR -- A narrative of yesterday's shooting at 14th and Elm has been released by the Little Rock Police Department.

18-year-old Tevin Mills stated he was traveling east on 14th street when two black males, one he knows as “Lil Marquise, and the other known as “CD” pulled up on a Moped attempting to steal his wallet and cell phone.

Mr. Mills advised when he refused to give up the wallet and cell phone, Lil Marquise began shooting striking him in the left leg.

Mr. Mills advised both suspects fled the area in an unknown direction. 

Mills injuries were not life threatening.

The suspects are not in custody.

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Police confirm they are working a shooting at 14th and Elm in Little Rock.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 5:15.

One person is injured.

The victim's injury is not life-threatening.

There is no word on the motive.

The investigation is continuing.
