LITTLE ROCK, AR -- A Little Rock barber shop is doing its part to help keep young boys tobacco free.
Skillz Barber Shop -- in partnership with Tobacco Free Arkansas -- held its third annual customer appreciation event today.
The shop also unveiled its new mentoring program for young boys.
Lonnie Brown from Skillz Barber Shop says the program's purpose is to teach young boys about becoming men.
The family fun day included free food, kick ball and health screenings.
Nineteen boys and nine mentors attended the programs first meeting.
The group's next meeting is Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Skillz Barber Shop -- located next to Grady's Pizza on 12th Street.
