LITTLE ROCK, AR - The mayor talked about the positive things happening in Little Rock today. Everything from economic development and city initiatives to downtown revitalization and growth. He also highlighted capital improvement projects underway to fix city roads, a West Little Rock police substation and a new fire station to improve public safety.

But the mayor also said the city faces many challenges especially violence.

"This violence will not stop until we all get involved. We do have it in our power to fix this. There is nothing broken here that cannot be fixed. No problem here that cannot be solved," says Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola.

Mayor Stodola asked everyone to take a more active role in suppressing the violence. He also called on all preachers to hit the streets and reach out to our youth.
