LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Many Arkansans gathered in MacArthur Park to admire vintage military vehicles today.
It was all part of the Macarthur Museum of Arkansas Military History's 2nd annual Vintage Military Vehicle Show.
Vehicles from World War I through Desert Storm were on display in front of the museum.
Cliff Yarbrough with the Military Vehicle Preservation Association -- Arkansas Razorback Chapter -- says this is a very significant event for veterans in the community.
"It's very important, I think, that we connect with the veterans especially," Yarbrough said. "They are getting older and a lot of the younger guys aren't getting into the hobby."
To commemorate the centennial of the beginning of World War I, this year's show featured a show on Camp Pike.
