LITTLE ROCK, AR-- A central Arkansas man says falling ice caused damage to his car while driving.

Floyd Carter says while driving on Interstate 40 Tuesday, a chunk of ice flew off another moving car and hit his sunroof, cracking the glass.

"The glass in the sunroof exploded. I guess from the impact of the ice," said Carter.

Carter says wasn't injured because of the sunroof's cover.

"If (the cover) was open, I'm not sure where all that glass would have been," said Carter.

Carter says thankfully most of the ice from the winter storm appears to melting fast, but can't forget the ice that caused damage to his car.

"I just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time," said Carter.

Now he has a simple message for other drivers after his experience.

"Clear the ice off your car. I don't care how long it takes. It could prevent you from being in an accident or cause another accident for sure," said Carter.
