PINE BLUFF, AR--The mayor of Pine Bluff is changing her immediate plan to sue the election commission.

Friday, the county's commission voted to move the election from 2016 to this fall. If it proceeds, the move cuts short mayor Debe Hollingsworth's term and knocks her out of the race.

At tonight's state of the city address Hollingsworth said she is now weighing her options.

"I don't deal with it. My focus is the business of the city that's what I was elected to do and that's what I'm going to continue to do," she says.

The commission went against the county prosecutors opinion on the issue. Hollingsworth did not say if or when she plans to move forward with a lawsuit to have the election in 2016.
