Workers say it picked up every once in a while but for the most part not many are coming in to cast their vote.
But they don't believe though that people are skipping out on voting.
"I think most of your voters went in for early voting so it's not like they're running out to their site to vote a lot of them did it earlier," says coordinator Junilla Marlow.
If voters approve the tax increase homeowners with a house valued at $100-thousand dollars can expect to pay $38 dollars more a year in taxes.
Leaders say it will go toward expanding to college to keep up with demand.
